Blocks & Mallets

Vaughncraft Temple Blocks are, hands down, the most resonant and full-bodied temple blocks on the market. To minimize the amount of glue, we hollow out a solid piece of mahogany, and place it between two Russian Birch side pieces for stability. Like our drums shells, the use of solid wood (opposed to ply-wood) vastly improves the tone and timbre of the blocks. 

The earthy and organic characteristics of the process causes for a broad range of sounds and dynamics, making Vaughncraft Temple Blocks the only set you will ever need. Perfect for professional orchestras and high school bands alike! 

Temple Blocks come standard with C-Pentatonic tuning (C-D-F-G-A), and all mounting hardware is included (Knurled rods, cross-bar, down-rod, allen wrench, CYMBAL STAND BASE NOT INCLUDED).
